Welcome to Sunrise Baptist Church in Leake County, Mississippi. It is my privilege to Pastor this wonderful church sitting on the top of Sunrise hill on Highway 16 East between Carthage and Edinburg. I hope you will look around at the various ministries of our church that are featured on this website. We have activities for all age groups whether young or old.
The greatest asset of Sunrise Baptist Church is the sweet spirit that is found among the people. Sunrise is a place where the people desire to worship God and to tell others about the Love of Jesus Christ that is in their hearts.
So come and worship with us and allow God to speak to you through the sweet people of Sunrise. It is my belief that you will sense the spirit of God that is in the hearts of his people.

"GO" Visitation Teams
An important part of the outreach effort at Sunrise, the visitation teams, nicknamed GO, consist of two energetic groups that meet monthly. They visit, participate in a card ministry, and pray for those they minister to. Participation is on a voluntary basis, and anyone concerned about outreach is welcome. Along with enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie, the groups report feelings of accomplishing God's will and being blessed for their efforts. Come join us!
